Plagiarism Policy

The publication processes of Davraz Journal of Sports Sciences (DSBD) are based on the production, development and sharing of information impartially using the scientific method.

Refereed articles are studies that ensure the application of the scientific method and the principle of impartiality. All components of the publication process in the realization of scientific production; The publisher, editors, authors, referees and readers must comply with ethical principles. In this context, the publication ethics and open access policy of Davraz Journal of Sports Sciences are in line with the guidelines and policies published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in open access (For example, "Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Code of Conduct and Journal Editors" Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors and COPE Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors require all components of the publication process to comply with ethical principles.

If situations such as manipulation, distortion and use of fabricated data of the data used in the articles are detected, this situation will be notified officially to the institution where the article author works and the article will be rejected. Our journal has the right to request output files of the analysis results from the authors, based on the feedback given by the editor and/or referees. Responsibility for all information and statements declared in published works belongs to the author(s).

Authors must also upload the plagiarism report when uploading the work. Plagiarism is the most common and serious ethical problem affecting scientific writing. Davraz Journal of Sports Sciences tries to take the necessary precautions to prevent any form of plagiarism. In addition, articles are scanned with plagiarism software (iTenthicate, Turnitin) to detect overlapping and similar text samples. Articles with a similarity score of more than 20% are not accepted for publication. For the copyright form, fill out the relevant form completely and send it to tahirkilic@sdu.edu.tr.
